The August 10th Recovery Friendly Workplace statewide conference, Reimagining Today’s Workforce, was a success, bringing in just shy of 200 attendees both in- person and virtually. The in-person attendees ranged from all over the state, with other participants traveling from as far away as Wisconsin, Oregon, and Nebraska. Many occupations were represented, including University of Missouri, Prevent-Ed, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Department of Social Services, Citizens Memorial Hospital, Community Asset Builders, and Primary Care Associates.

This conference represented the culmination of three years of efforts to establish Recovery Friendly Workplaces in Missouri. Attendees seemed overall pleased with the conference, with 62% of respondents agreeing the conference was beneficial to their work, and several respondents specifically mentioning the great speakers. One respondent wrote, “great job, great people, great event, great conference”.
